The first day of spring is in one day. I was looking through some of my flower photos and came across this one. The image was captured on Isabella Island in the Galapagos. I thought you might enjoy the image that gives us a taste of spring after our brutish winter.
We travelled to Huatulco Mexico on vacation in late November 2013. There is a nearby bay called La Bocana where the river empties into the ocean. Birds of all kinds congregate at this location. One evening we decided to watch the sunset on the beach. The view was amazing. A mist developed over the water as the sun began to set. The scene was breathtaking.
Over the past month, we have been experiencing unseasonably cold weather. It is depressing. I started looking through my photos from the summer and found this image of a field of small blue flowers I had taken at a local park. The light shining through the flowers was gorgeous. It brightens my day when I look at it.
